HOBNAILED project start to play in fall 2003, from a commun conception of the drummer Nico Malanchini and the guitar axe Francesco Benvenuti, with a view to improve some primitive riff apparatus. With the aid of bassist Stefano Boschiero, the first formation begins to make ripening a lot of chords, finishing thereby two tracks in raw & crude thrash-death style, influenced by pillars like Obituary, Sepultura, Carcass, Pestilence & Slayer. The achievement,even though it cheap, appears anyway rewarding for threesome, that bets to looking for a vocalist to complete the band line-up. Through secondary friendships, Nico get to knows Andrea +BABU+ Malfatto, at once croping up to toss off drafted vocal tracks. The band seems to reach a sort of solidity right to undertake one's own musical iter, but after less than an year there was no more agreement, with the subsequent defection by the guitarist Francesco (that he'll founds death metal band EDGE CRUSH). Leftover membership don't give up all hope and, soon afterwards, find a substitute in Daniele Menegatti (ex-Unkind vocalist), trying to regain inflatedly the incipient course, with a modenest and more powerful imprint. This stuff extends over around an year, whereas it confine itself just a status of cover band (of several bands as testament,pantera,obituary,carcass...),playing an handful of live shows in little clubs. In the fall of 2004 the band had to cope with another defection by Daniele, and chooses unbendingly to broke up. The bass player Stefano thinks to take up navigating on different music styles, while Andrea & Nico remains waiting for somebody interested at the project with severity and resolution. In the spring of 2005 Nico knows the bassplayer Andrea Squerzanti (ex-Exile with Babu) at the Morbid Angel live show in Bologna, from now it sets in an appealing friendship and chatting fervently about underground music, they unearths commun devotion to Death Metal; so "Sqè" & Nico rake up entirely the rhythm section. Once reached this freemasonry, they back at looking for an efficient guitarist,even remaining matter-of-fact, since past bleak experiences... The waiting is short... Indeed, soon after,... and suddenly, Mario Ranieri answer an unexpected advertisement divulged by Nico... As Hobnailed Machine is already on march! Restarting from a new beginning, but with the good mind to make room for own settlement, emanates basic riffs of MASS MURDER CONFESSION, really the first hob-track, as well as charger on the future live shows, a fast grindcore song characterized by typically floridian sonority. Excited about such a sighting, the band finds definitive musical tendency, to creating some sundry, brutal and articulate stuff, like at the listening of WHERE DEPRESSION SLEEPS DEPARTED, whereas particularly inspired lyrics accompanies a cadenced & granitic bearing. Without too many troubles erupts LIVING SEPULCHRE, a monolithic passage that will compare quite a few of approvals among the audiences, thanks to his enthralling groove... This track will increases outstandingly thy band's perseverance and assiduity. In the course of following months the group composes other two songs, INNOCENT HARSH QUARTERING and DESPISE ALL BELIEFS, that, in november of 2006, will complements the first four-track demo named "Smell Of Rotting Life", recorded by Federico Viola (featuring hardcore bands as REINFORCED CONCRETE, HATEQUARTER, PRIDE OF HAKA,...). This work permits Hobnailed to performs on stage with INFERNAL POETRY, VISCERA, LACERATER, ZERO TOLERANCE, NEURASTHENIA, WORSTENEMY, BESTIAL DEVASTATION, NATRON, NECROID, TOOLS OF TORTURE, ICON OF HYEMES, PUTRIDITY, SAVAGE ANNIHILATION,.... and so to become a household name, gaining a reputable local-radio extract (Noise Attack n°30 6/1/2007 - on radio città fujicko) of LIVING SEPULCHRE. Actually the four "nailed" are ready to tape new flaring material, what be included on next upcoming release, out probably in the fall of the year... Stay brutally tuned!!!
