Biografia : Filthy Conscience

Everything started on a hellish hot august afternoon 2001, when Marko and Flo had this shitty idea:
Out of any temper, they decided to found a band. Oh, the idea was so shitty, because no one of them could really play any instrument till that time, but it could not stop them from the will to have a band. Mike and Chris had the same thoughts and where as enthusiastic as the other guys at least. And that was the plan:

Flo and Chris on the guitars, which they bought immediatly (We actually don`t know, how we did without having money) and Mike on the bass. But where do the drums come in? Cause without any room for playing drums, they made no sense, therefor Marco had to stand quiet, while the other guys could have practise. That they did without any lessons was forsure. Flo´s cellar was quiet enough for covering some famous songs and practising important guitare parts. But already in March of the next year they found, with a bit of vitamin B and luck, a place for practise at youth-centre Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Just one time a week, but that was enough for beginning. Now they needed drums. After some weeks the other bands where tired of renting their stuff to Marco, because he had this strange ..... to exterminate the equipment after a bit playing. At that time, Marco hadn`t have enough money for buying his own equipment, so Flo and Mike took all their money together, fetched Marco, drove to Munich and bougth a new drumset for him. Sounds strange, but it happened that way. The only thing which was missing, was the name for their band:

But actually it should be "Filthy Conscience"(No plan how they decided for this unpronounceable name, but it stands for all their unchristian lyriks and all the crazy shit, which happened in their lives). Now it should really start. Oh, i forgot, at time they could not play their instruments yet, but it didn`t keep them from playing their first gig after a half year with only four songs at the Evergreen: It was called the 2. Zwieda Fest with the Bands Underpressure (Who didn`t come), Beeswax, Liquid Ninjas and Noopinion. Be astonished: They earned money for the crap, they where playing their. But fuck it, they had fun. If good or bad, they turned better. With this constellation, they played some more concerts: At the Pharao ("Now Fantasy"...strange place), at a fucked up birthday party, at a after show party for the Kolbensession and one or two times more at the Youthcentre and the evergreen. At the end of July 2003, the four guys recorded their first CD with four tracks under the direction of Master Veit. Unfortunately, they have never released it. But it had no matter, because in August 2003 Mike deserted the band to play the bass for noopinion, which where searching for a bassplayer at that time. No one was angry on Mike at all, because every one has to do what his sense for music tells him. Therefor they had no leadsinger, Flo and Chris had to try screaming into the micros. But that was not as important as basssupport at that time. Now the music from Filthy Conscience changed more and more from agressive punk-trash riffs into metal. Through Mike they become acquainted with Jeffrey a bit time later, who played a hellish guitare and who could easily come into their riffs with the bass, too. Now they played the next coming up gigs together with him, but unfortunately they had to find out, that he hadn`t the time for practising the basslines (He had a own band and two jobs to do). So it stoped as fast as it has began. It was a pity, but we don`t want to overdo. But they stayed true and played the next gigs on devil come out, maybe better than ever before.

And also they had the time, which they spend into intecrating a bassplayer, for creating their own musicstyle...and hell ya, they did! Now Chris and Flo sang with the same share and their sound turned harder and harder. I think, in this constellation they played their best gigs at the Tiny Town Festival, the Extreme Metal Assault (Together with Infestus, Bitterness and Depresion), at the Evergreen together with Cavemen and last but not least at Seppi`s birthdayparty together with the Liquid Ninjas. One more very nice gig was at the Ever again, together with the Trashchapel Yarvis from Austria. But they had also their worst gig, it was together with the band riff raff...hi hi. Where they, because of their bad mood, filled up their selves with whiskey untill no one of them could stand on his own feet and so they ruined their show. Oh man, they played so horrible, but also better than the riffi raffi`s. In summer 2004 they decided to record their second CD and which should be released. So therefor, they locked their selves together with Master Krey and at three of the nicest summerdays ever, in the cellar of the youthcentre and gave all they had.

Result: After more 5 or 6 month, a lot of damm work and times of suicidel thoughts, the CD has been finally finished. Since short time, Christoph is playing the bass (directly from hell) for them and all that has just happened, because he was searching for a drummer (Marco) for his own band. Long words short sense, now he is playing for Filthy Conscience. We keep on kicken asses and hope it will hold on for a long time.
