Faithreat were formed on the summer of 2007 by members of Disharmonic and Adikaiologitos Apon, in Volos city, Greece. The original line-up consisted of :
Kostas - gtr
Anestis - gtr
John - vox
Giannis - bass
Vaggelis - drums

The band recorded its first two releases with this line-up . "Back to the Pit" (2009, full-length) and "Thrashing with the Stars" (released 2012, 7" EP).

Nikos (drums) joined the band on the summer of 2011 to replace Vaggelis and a year later Sofo took on bass duties upon the departure of Giannis. The current line-up is :

(Update 20/8/2012)
Today, besides our drummer's birthday, was our first day in the studio, commencing the recordings of our second full-length album. The new album will consist of 11 songs and will carry the name of the band! Being happy with the result of our previous release, "Thrashing with the Stars" recordings once again take place in Fabric Studios, Larisa city.
