The history of Dethronement began already in winter 1993 when teenage retards J.J and Jürgen decided to form a band together. J.J who had just left the legendary black metal band, Necromany, was sick of the churchburning and corpsepaint, and wanted to do something opposite to it. The band was dubbed Bacon Warriors, and went thhrough a longtime struggle to find members who could live up to the expectations. Bacon Warriors released one demo in 1996, shortly after that, all members felt that it was time to move on from the foodmetal and they renamed the band Dethronement on a drunnk summernight. After being critcally aclaimed for their own released demos (Astral Serenity 1997, Breeding the Demonseed 1998) the band singned swedish label Loud n Proud, and the fullength debut , Survival of the Sickest, was released in 1999. After recording the follow-up, Loud n Proud was bankrupt and couldnt release the album, so Dethronement became and indieband instead. But it took until 2002 for them to record Steel Manufactured Death, which was released by the band themselves. In early 2003 all members felt that they were going in different directions musicwise, and therefor put the band on hold. As of now the band has remained inactive. But the spirit lives on...........
