The Eternia saga dates back to the beginning of 1997 when guitarist Daniel Niemann, bassplayer Patrik Nordendahl and drummer Magnus Larsson decided to play their favourite kind of music, Metal! . The three of them had played together since 1992 in various bands but never felt completely satisfied with the music style of those bands until 1997 when their music started to sound the way that they wanted, Hard, Heavy and Melodic!
The talented guitar player Ronny Blylod joined the band shortly after the band was formed in -97 and with his skillfull guitar playing the band improved their songs a great deal. But they also needed a great and powerfull lead singer which they found after a couple of months in Mats Dahlberg. Mats was the perfect metal frontman with the perfect voice and attitude for this kind of metal Eternia now were playing.

At this time eternia entered a studio to record some song and right away you could hear that the band had found their own sound with powerfull drumming, great guitarplaying and a massive bass behind Mats raw, yet melodic voice.

Eternia played some gigs in Örnsköldsvik and in some nearby towns with great respons from the audience and they felt that their music was appreciated a lot by the crowds.

Once again Eternia entered the studio, this time to record a demo cd. The recording went really well and 5 songs ended up on the cd named 'The guardian of the treasure'. The demo cd sold really well all over the world especially in countries like Japan, Greece, Belgium, Italy and of course in Sweden. 'The guardian of the treasure' was sent to numerous metal zines and Eternia got superb reviews.

The cd also caught the interest of many record labels and the Eternia signed a deal with the Swedish label 'Edler music AB/ UFO Records'. The recording of their debut album was long and hard, but finally in march 2002 'Tales Of Power' was released. The cd recieved great reviews and was appreciated by metal fans all over the world.

Eternia made some gigs to back up their release and some new songs were written, but in march 2003 when Eternia and Edler music AB went seperate ways, Mats Dahlberg decided to leave Eternia due to work and family related issues.

At once Eternia begun their search for a new frontman as Ronny remembered a talented singer from when he was a music student a couple of years earlier. A phonecall later and a 600 kilometers flight Andy was trying out as the future singer of Eternia. Andy rehearsed with Eternia for a while and the band was very pleased. In june 2003 Andy K became part a of this promising heavy/power metal band which at this point entered a studio to record a demo which will hopefully land a record deal.....

In July 2005 the band, under the new name Destynation, signed a deal with the Greek label Sonic Age Records.
