Marc Dosser and Tom Michels founded the band in 1994. The line-up got complete one year later with Tom Dosser and Stefano deAngelis. In 1996 the first gig took place at the well-known "ATELIER" in Luxemburg-city in front of 500 people together with two other bands. Next step was the recording of the nine-track demo-tape "INFINITY's REGARD" in Luxembourg, which was sold about 400 times.

Many concerts during that year with bands like DIE KRUPPS (GER), OOMPH! (GER), RYKERS (GER), got us in touch with AUDIMANIA RECORDS (GER), where we recorded our first CD "Same" (9 tracks/released in 1998). This album got a lot of positive reviews in magazines and fanzines all over the world. Through hard work we made this album available in as many distributions as possible. Stefano left the band and we played with different guitar players a big amount of gigs in Luxemburg, Germany, France and Belgium with several international acts: DYING FETUS (USA), KRISIUN (BRA), SOILWORK (SWE), DERANGED (SWE), SOUL DEMISE (GER), MORTUARY (FRA), ANCIENT CEREMONY (GER), FLESHCRAWL (GER), FROZEN ILLUSION (GER), KARKADAN (GER), SACRALIS (GER), ENTHRONED (BEL), HADES, BLACK BLEEDING (BEL), MONASTERY (GER), PAGAN LORN (LUX) and MAYHEM!!!!!!!!!(NOR)

Our biggest gigs were together with APOCALYPTCA (FIN) for whom we opened in 1998 with RUINATION (LIT) and in November 2000. Both times the shows in Luxembourg were sold out with about 1000 tickets. At that time Oli Scheeck joined us on the guitar and we decided to record the traditional song "Zu Arel Op Der Knippchen" sung in our mother tongue -luxembourgian- which appeared on the sampler "Planet Lëtzebuerg" in a powerful death-metal version. By the end of 2000 it was the first time that a song of this music style reached number 24 in the international charts of RTL Luxembourg, just before Britney Spears :-). This sampler was sold about 4000 times.

In spring of 2001, we entered the PROSSECCO STUDIOS in Karlsruhe/Germany and recorded nine songs with a much better sound and an evolution in the songwriting. With this album called "Paralyzed" we are now trying to go a step further and get a "deal" and distribution. To do the promotion of this output, we already played a lot of gigs with bands like SUHRIM (BEL), VISERAL DISSECTION (FRA), VINDSVAL (LUX), APOPLEXY (FRA) in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Since then DESDEMONIA's Album "Paralyzed" got great and interesting reviews (check it out) in many magazines and airplay on radio stations in Europe, the States, Asia and South America.
In 2001/2002 DESDEMONIA took part on samplers of magazines like LEGACY MAGAZINE (GER, 50 000 copies),G.U.C. (GER, 2 000 copies) and appeared on compilations of EXTREME NOISE(BEL) and the DEAFNESS RADIO SHOW(BEL).
