Biografia : Demon Cleaner

'Fuzz' Rock n' Roll act DEMON CLEANER wear their influences proud, being named after a KYUSS song. The band commenced operations as an instrumental trio in May of 1996 consisting of Kimmo Holappa on guitar, Martin Stangefelt on bass and Daniel Lidén on drums. The group debuted commercially with the track 'Kickback', included on the 'Welcome To Meteor City' compilation. During January of 1998 the band inducted vocalist / guitarist Daniel Söderholm, appearing on the 'A Fist Full Of Freebird' compilation with the track 'Pathfinder'.

However, in 1999 Söderholm decamped and Martin Stangefelt resumed his position at the lead vocal slot. In an almost unique spirit of co-operation DEMON CLEANER would share no less than three split EPs with Stoner compatriots DOZER for their own Molten Universe label. The pairing issued the 'Demon Cleaner Vs. Dozer' EP in 1998, 'Hawaiian Cottage', limited to 400 orange vinyl and 100 purple vinyl copies in 1999 and the 'Domestic Dudes' EP. DEMON CLEANER's debut album, 'The Freeflight', was also delivered by Molten Universe in 2000. The band would also feature on the 'Graven Images' MISFITS tribute album on Freebird Records donating their rendition of 'We Are 138'.

In March of 2000 Rickard "Snicken" Ny was enrolled as second guitarist and later the same year Daniel Jansson became DEMON CLEANER's new bassist. DEMON CLEANER released their second selftitled album in 2002. They played their last gig at Stoned from the underground in Erfurt, Germany, on september 14th 2002.

Snicken and Jansson went on to form Stonewall Noise Orchestra and Daniel Lidén joined Dozer and later started his own VAKA project.
