The birth of Deep Odium occurred in the winter of 1999 in Algarve and from then to nowadays the hordes have slightly changed. Now lurking in the dark we have Perverter (Lead Vocalist), Abhor (Guitars & Back vocals), Malum Sepulcri (Guitars & Back vocals), Deamoniorum (Bass) and Angel Corpse (Drums). The band has evolved from a sound were keyboards had an important role to a now extremely powerful but at the same time melodic sound, where demising guitars and bass cross path with violent raw voices and drums, fulfilling our own standards. The band has by now released a demo with four tracks called "Tetrae Tenebrae", a second demo with five songs calld "Mortem" and 3 live DVD's. Deep Odium as also gained experience playing many gigs and Festivals with such bands as Parricide, Sacred Sin, The Firstborn, The Temple, Upstream, In Tha Umbra, Infernüs, Raw Machine, Simbiose, Fungus, Sortilege, Arachula, Hoax, Nostrum Invocatio and others. Adding to this, all Deep Odium members have side projects or have been in other bands, giving them a new perspective in all fronts. We are currently preparing songs for a full length album.
