Biografia : Dark Vision

DARK VISION were formed in 1996 in the murky and dark times of the Greek metal scene and have been performing extreme metal ever since, starting off as a Heavy/Black six piece
shaping into the straight Black/Death quartet of nowadays.

The demo era -from 1996 to 1999- brought up several promo tapes that were spread
to the underground network, marking their first steps into the scene.

The debut album entitled "Full Moon Shines" was recorded during 2000 (released by NMC Records), followed by a promo-track recording in 2004 which also marked the shooting of their music video ("Signs From Fallen Stars"). Numerus line-up changes slowed all activities until Dark Vision got active again in 2006.

In 2008 a self-financed EP entitled "Bestial Remedy" was released, introducing 5 tracks of a brand new face; Death/Black through a modern Metal perspective.

For Dark Vision's 15 years anniversary, the next album "Ingrowth" was released in April 2012 on vinyl exclusively. While still swimming in Black/Death Metal waters, the band added a groovy touch and a Rock 'n' Roll attitude to their tunes. A few months before the album came out, the second music video for the song "King Of Emptiness" was also put out.

2014 finds the band recording a cover of Bathory's "Raise The Dead" which was released as a digital single. 5 years later and after performing around Greece the new release coming out is a single/EP (printed in pro digipak format) under the title "Grusesome Tide"

The year is 2020 and Dark Vision completed the recording for the upcoming full length album entitled "Ianos". Will be released by Cult of Parthenope. "A release that comes along with the band's 25 years anniversary".

This time the band collaborated with the world renowned Andy Classen who mixed and mastered the new material that includes a cover of Christian's Death's "Deathwish" but also featuring artwork by Remedy Art Design.

DARK VISION is a live act and have been since their first days, having shared the stage with well-established bands like Mayhem, Satyricon, Sodom, Rotting Christ, SepticFlesh, Ancient Rites, Kaamos, Dark Fortress, Deviant, Deviser but also numerous local underground bands.
