Biografia : Cherries On A Blacklist

From Greece and Mexico to Hamburg. Germany, a long journey the members of Cherries On A Blacklist had to make in order to reach the same goal, to create and enjoy music. Cherries On A Blacklist was founded in May 2007 in Hamburg by Andreas, George, Malapert and Knop. After playing live all around Germany, they managed to record their first EP on their own, titled “14” (4 Track-EP) in the summer of 2008. After they started to gain respect and get noticed by the local clubs, Sebastian Knop left the band for his own personal reasons in the beginning of 2009. A new bass player had to be found; Gonzo joined to complete the line-up. The band then moved forward, spending many hours rehearsing and working on the pre-production of their debut album without compromising in their songwriting. By the end of 2009 they finally decided to work with the well-known producer Olman Viper. The “LAKAFIGO” Album was recorded live at NULL ZWEI studio in Hamburg. The production started in December of 2009 and finished by the end of March 2010. Four different individuals, from two different countries, with one goal in mind, to be recognized as a band with its' own unique rock sound.
