Cast Thy Eyes were born near Lecce (south Italy) in December 2006, its members coming from a ten years long experience in different bands of the local metal and hardcore underground.

The band has been playing live since the beginning and has gained a huge following and respect due to their onstage aggressiveness and impact.

The first, self-titled album was recorded in March 2007 and released in September 2007, receiving great reviews on national magazines and web mags (Rock Hard, Metal Maniac, Metal Hammer, Rumore, Metal.it and so on).

In January 2010 Andrea Litti became the new member of the band on guitar, replacing the former guitarist Tonio Gaballo.

The new album "We Burn Into The Cold Eyes Of The Sun" is out now and was recorded by Stefano Manca at Sudestudio (Campi Salentina, Italy) and mastered by Alan Douches at West Westside Studios (NY, USA), co-produced by the band and several DIY labels under the “DIY Conspiracy” monicker, and comes in a deluxe package with a 20 pages A5 cardboard booklet

The video for the song “Die One Day” is currently airing on Rock TV, Italy’s most important cable TV rock channel.

Cast Thy Eyes are planning a lot of live dates in the near future, including an Italian tour in May/June 2010 and a European tour in October 2010.
