Black Epiphany is a studio project created by musician/composer Alexander Oden in 2007. All of the songs are written, performed, and recorded by Oden. The overall sound of Black Epiphany is Experimental Metal with a bit of Death and Industrial Metal mixed in.

The first album "Mocking the Dead" was independently released by Oden in 2008. This ten track album includes "Obsidian Sunrise", "Siren Song", and the title track "Mocking the Dead".

Black Epiphany's second studio album titled "Catatonic Utopia" was released in 2011. Notable songs on this album include "Unbound", "Prelude to the End", and "Solitary" which features guest vocalist Sarah Long.
