Asylium was formed in 2003 by Joel Axelsson and Fredrik Lundell, and an early demo was recorded. In the beginning och 2004 Mikaela Åkesson was recruited on bass, and at the end of that same year Andreas Runfors also joined the band. During the years up until nowseveral rhythmguitarists have come and gone and now Asylium only consists of the four original members. Another demo was recorded in 2004 and a third demo was recorded during 2006. in 2008 Asylium made their debut release on "Maltkross Productions" with a tape containing the latest demo with a new mastering. 2010 "272 Records" released a compilation cd named "Kill City 25" on which Asylium contributed with one song. In July 2011 Asylium made their debut album release with "An Architecture of Human Desolation" on the label "Necrotic Records" in a colaboration with "Sevared Records" and "Murder Records". Right now Asylium are in full planning of their next album release for which a label already are willing to release.
