Biografia : Anakron

1996-1999

Anakron is a one-man band from Hungary who started to write music with computer in 1996-1997. His aim was to create metal with folk and symphonic influence - without any real instruments. During the years Anakron recorded many demos so far.
In 1998 the 3rd 90 min. piece of early chaotic music (containing industrial metal as well as symphonic black metal and folk metal) was released as demo "III" - some 10 of the demo were sold. Soon in this year the music and lyrics for "Naturehymns" were written, two of the songs were recorded with vocals.
In 1999 Anakron composed a 30 min. instrumental viking metal opera "The Viking Warrior" which was to be released (together with "The Wanderer of the Scorched Earth" with oriental influences) by a Hungarian underground publisher, but the publisher cried off in the end.

1999-2004

In 1999 Anakron started to write joyful instrumental folk metal themes which accumulated and soon the first part of "A százholdas pogány" (1 hour of continuous music) was ready to publish. It was this time when the negative criticism disappointed him as much as he decided to write music only for his own pleasure. Until 2002 five hours of "A százholdas pogány" had been composed. The music became more and more personal, however, still bad quality, with the same old computer programming and samples.
In 2004 Anakron managed to acquire a new technical background and he decided to write new songs - despite the fact that he had written till then some 6 hours of unpublished music. Two new songs, three covers (one from the Polish Celtic folk band Open Folk, one from the greatest Hungarian folk band Muzsikás and one from Moonspell) and a song rearranged from demo "III" from 1998 were composed in a month. "Demo 2004" received pretty good criticism in Hungarian Metal Hammer, however, only 3 CDs were sold.

2005

During 2005 Anakron has rewritten his "Viking Warrior" some three times and is still engaged in searching for the final sound. To this album two covers (Falkenbach - "Baldurs Tod", Burzum - "Daudi Baldrs") were recorded. The Falkenbach cover was accepted to the the Falkenbach Tribute album - the greatest honour Anakron could imagine.
In the future much of the music of Anakron from 1996-2002 will be rearranged and many ANAKRONISTIC works will see the light. The past is alive…
