The solista musical plan Amsvartnit begins in the summer of 2003 when I decide to record on my computer the several pieces that, for a year to that part, I had composed and arranged with my keyboard. At the beginning the plan is called EvilDagda and it is very tied to the BlackMetal music. With the changes of the melodies that I compose I decide to give a more gothic touch to my music and to christen this transformation with the new name Amsvartnit. Moreover I decide to add the drummachine to give more structure to the songs. After six months of hard work and mixage I give life to my first album “Nightfall in Bloom”. Eight tracks of pure gothic-ambient melody, (they reconnect sometimes to the typical BlackMetal melodies usually played with guitars) heartbreaking dark lyrics and one ninth track, the cover of Cradle Of Filth's “One Final Graven Kiss”. The result is quite successful and convinces me to continue and to produce more and again. During the recording of the new songs I receive an invite from a friend of mine to form a band to play my songs with guitars, bass and one true drummer. The plan seems to work and “Immaculate Sin” is also recorded. But for some reasons the plan unfortunately ends. After some months “Phantasya” is born. The new job has the same energy of “Nightfall in Bloom” even if, beyond to the obvious musical maturation of the melodies themselves, it is influenced by my musical preferences of the moment (The Kovenant, Thee Maldoror Kollective, Aborym, Sopor Aeternus and so on). In fact the electronic pieces and the lyrics are less tied to Gothic and Death but more towards existential and philosophical topics. After this Cd, my activity is suspended by now because I have begun to sing in a band of Verona: SIGHT. Now this is my main occupation in music. Anyway, as answer to the many emails received in favour of my work and also because my project is anything but abandoned, I have intention to rearrange both the works renaming my plan “AMSVARTNIT & THE FRAGILE MOONBEAMS OF DARKNESS”. This will demand hard work and time… but be patient for the result will arrive and you won't be disappointed. See you soon! -Amsvartnit
