???? Sakura Yoshida – Rhythm Guitarist

Born: December 28, 1998 — Yokosuka, Japan

Sakura was born in the port city of Yokosuka, surrounded by naval ships, foreign sailors, and historic maritime culture — shaping her fascination with sea legends and naval aesthetics early in life.

She grew up listening to J-rock, metal, and anime soundtracks. At age 13, she picked up her first guitar, practicing obsessively to match the speed and precision of the bands she admired. She later helped form the band Hagane, establishing her reputation as one of Japan’s most promising young metal guitarists.

Her influences include:

Japanese all-female metal bands

Yui from Cyntia (tone + rhythm clarity)

Power-metal rhythm guitarists (tight right-hand control)

Melodic anime OST guitarists

Sakura joined Oblivion Sacrifice in 2019, helping stabilize the lineup and bringing youthful fire alongside Kazuki’s more seasoned approach. Her rhythm work keeps the band’s sound tight, driving, and aggressive.

Offstage she’s cheerful, slightly nerdy, and loves old pirate movies. Onstage she’s a force — sharp playing, confident stances, and a signature windmill-strike strumming attack.
