Sébastien Dispas AKA Monsieur Il (sometimes abbraviated Seb or M. Il) began drums in a grunge band: Lawless (band active from 1995 to 1996) with Poups as guitar player.
In 1996, Monsieur Il plays in an Extrem Metal band with Shadow XIII and sporadically Poups. All three reunite under the name Mactabis (band active from 1999 to 2015), the style would evolve to become some Black/Thrash/Doom, Mactabis will long be the main Monsieur Il's band; at the beginning, Shadow XIII is the bass player, but, quickly, he becomes the singer, it's only in 2007 that this band find (after a few other bass player) Mare that would only quit the band short before it split.
Monsieur Il also played drums in the Grind/Death and sometimes Crust band Phallomachia (band active from 2002 to 2003) with among others late-Morty at the vocals and in the Folk/Celtic band Goupil (band active in 2002).
Monsieur Il begins to play guitar and form the Black Metal band Spectre (band active from 2004 to 2009 and from 2013 to 2018) with Heinous at the drums, V.S. (Olivier Evens) at the guitar and late-Morty (still at the vocals), he quite quickly leaves the band and only comes back in 2007 as a drummer, Spectre becomes then Monsieur Il's second main band, he records a demo with them. After Spectre's split in 2009, the band recovers in 2013 under the impulsion of its guitar player V.S. with Monsieur Il at the drums, the first drummer: Heinous at the vocals and Shadow XIII at the bass.
Monsieur Il integrates the Trash Metal Folk Experimental band Caligula (band active from 2008 to 2014) that has been created a bit before he arrived, still at the drums, since 2009, Caligula becomes his main band (when Spectre and Mactabis lost their rehearsal local, Spectre will then split and would only reform after Caligula's split and Mactabis would have difficulties to keep a stable rehearsal local), he records two albums with them.
Monsieur Il integrates, still as a drumer, a Raw Black Metal band that has just been created: Ooirim (band active from 2008 to 2009) with once again late-Morty at the vocals.
Monsieur Il co-creates (in 2018) the Doom/Black band Bockreiter (still active band) with Olivier Evens et Philippe Beck, being the only of his band remaining, de facto, it's his main band since 2018, Monsieur Il records with Bockreiter a demo in 2020 (released in 2021).
