In 2008/2009, Marco (ex-The Belling Stags/ex-Manada) and Peter 'Pic' Nigg (of the Liechtenstein band 'Landvogt') had the idea for a project outside of their main bands to have the possibility to write and play more 'heavier' rock music without any compromise. The project did not remain a project - as we all know, it turned into a real band called 'dark side of me'. Musically, he is the one providing huge riffs and highly melodic, catchy solos with his seven string guitars. Marco is supporting Urs during the songwriting process, but is mainly responsible for all organizational and technical issues of the band. Like Urs, he is a perfectionist and places great value especially on being well-prepared for gigs, recordings and rehearsals. Sometimes, this ends up him acting like a little dictator...
