Rostau are an Italian Experimental Funeral Doom band, that formed in 2004, they have released only one album, which is self produced. And i gotta say, that it sounds pretty good for a self-produced album.I came across this band when I was searching for a Warhammer-themed band. I downloaded their album on their official website, the song that made me do this was Ahriman of the Thousand Sons
But while hearing the first track, I got completely hypnotized, I forgot about the Ahriman song.

Celestial Hive Mind - This song is PERFECT, it's one of the creepiest songs, I've ever heard. That riff is amazing, simple, but amazing. The riff alone produces an incredible atmosphere, but when you follow this song with the lyrics, you get shivers. This song gave me fear, it's definitely the best song on the album. Ahriman of the Thousand sons - This one is also great, the vocals are more screamed than whispered, like on the first track. But still, this song is creepy, and very atmospheric. The lyrics are about the Chaos God Tzeentch, and it has a very creepy melody. To Die and to the Stars Ascend - This song is the reason i gave this album a 17/20. It's just boring and lifeless, I didn't feel any emotions. It's an instrumental track, and it deals with life after death.
3.33.333 - nothing much to say about this song, it's just an outro, with some weird noises.

The album overall is great, it's catchy, relaxing, scary, and most important, it's very atmospheric. So if you like atmospheric music, give it a try, I personally loved it. Which reminds me that a scary thing (actually two) happened to me while I was listening to this album. First time when I reached the middle of the second track, all lights went off, and it was total darkness. Second time, immediately when i finished it, all lights went off again.

I am not the reviewer type, i just wrote this to spread the word. You can download this album on the bands official website.
