An awakening
A stirring from the deepest sleep
His journey begins
Through barren field
Over hanging bridge
He'll leave no trace

And the world opens up
As the heavens bay for blood

From howling hills

Of furnace flames
Sulphur fills the air

4. SULPHURIC GLOW

Violet rays of a buried sun

6. STREAMS OF RAPTURE (I, II, III)

When fumes engulf the night sky
And strange beasts
Roam the hillside
Feral!
Through the glare
Of blazing dreams
In the streams of rapture
Enraptured!
An ugliness unfurled
In the moonlight
Led through the valley
Of secret midnight
Vile hands!
You journey
Through this hollow land
Enter the house of rapture

Saviour with a halo of flies
Wretched hellscape arise
Hallowed fane, poisoned womb
Gloomy horrors of the tomb

The promise of a waiting world
Eternity lies beyond or below

As earth shifts-reverberates
The gallows god decides our fate
Folly is an endless maze
Tangled roots perplex her ways
Diseased and doomed to fall
Death walks behind you

The great serpent slithers
Higher and higher
He who dwells in the flaming fire!

In the shadow of the monolith
Chained in night, corrupted soul
Vivid colours shall turn negative
Stranger wonders you'll behold
Funeral bells echo below

The alabaster tombs
Conceal an ancient dread
Earthly realms reversed, collapse
As chariots plow over
The bones of the dead

Above the lofty peaks
Black leather wings unfurl
Born from the sleeping pit
The awful darkness
Inside the world

Alchemy, the fate of all things
Crowning rays of a coming dawn
Flagellate the martyred saints
Enraptured in their wake

Transmogrified!

Orpheus, Eurydice
Keepers of the flame
Theseus, Ariadne
Psyche's coiled maze
Phlegethon, Acheron
Surge through the underland
Unearthed & unearthly
Communion with the damned

That the earth from sleep
Grave the sentence deep
Culverted starless rivers seep
Through rocks and ruins
Toward the sea of uncreation
From funeral pyres
Foul abominations rise
With tongue of fire
And halo of dark matter
The seventh seal is shattered!
