Saw them gathering everywhere
Looking left and right with blind stare
If they only knew what they're all about
They'd be the first in line to get out
Climbed on a hill where I could see

Escape was the only way out of it all
I drifted too far, too far out of reach

Too much pain inside your brain
You feel like exploding into a violent mess

Slaves to this ugly growing toxic machine

8. BACK ON EARTH

So I woke up on the ground
Stones under my back, dirt rubbing my skin
I've never felt this close
This close to Earth before
All the dreams I had or was it more than just a vision
Suddenly became so distant
And only this and now was real
Why? How could I go so far?
How did I reach the stars?
Will they ever be clear to me again?
Would this Earth be home to me again?

Back on Earth
With a grin, until I'm gone again

Will I find the passage once more?
To open doors in stone walls?
Catch the flying dreams within the mind?
When innocence is gone
Innocence is forever gone

Is this an afterlife?
A second chance? A new beginning?
Should I stay and make it worthwhile?
Ask the right questions this time around?
Will I be able to dream again?
Should I listen to the sound again?
Do I see the colours as I once saw them
In the eerie light?

Back on Earth
