With lifeless eyes I gaze into yours
I followed you into the deepest trenches
We will be reborn into the cold womb of the ocean

With reckless abandon I dissociate
From reality from myself
Plunging deep into frozen waters
I let my lungs fill

Creating life just to watch it plea for release
This place once cherished now lost to the blind

With teeth like daggers
Bite until it breaks the skin


2. DIRT

Split my spine open
Tearout nerves just to feel something
Purge every lasting thought
Searching for a means to an end

Abstract shadows on the walls
Watching in discontent
the end of misery
A solitary figure perched on the horizon
It's voice beckons from darkness

Come closer, put an end to my apathy
I'm sinking deeper

Dig through the dirt, buried beneath the earth


3. PARASITE

Vultures circle your remains
Put this wasteland to rest

Decayed spirit embrace the end
Still breathing with no meaning

Parasitic existence, consistent regression
Wretched being show me how you beg

No mercy, no remorse
Your grave has been dug
I'll feed you to the worms
Watch everything around you burn

You are not worthy of freedom
You are not worthy of life


4. CROOKED SMILE

I dwell in the darkness of the forest as the tempest screams overhead
As wolves come in droves
An unquenchable bloodlust sets in

As I lose myself, slow decline is felt

So move the arrow on the dial
There will be no final words
Just a malicious crooked smile

So write me off as a lost cause
Laid to rest

Death to your false god
You'll burn on your cross
Lost inside a failing mind
Dead ends are all I’ll find

There is no solace to be found
drain the blood from my veins


5. ABANDONED

Pry apart these rotting floorboards
Expose the death of my devotion

I set fire to my own path
Isolated i'm drifting away

This rage still lingers
In the caverns of my mind
It’s a constant state of unrest

This river has kept me under,
no longer can I see the light break the surface
Submerged in the depths of complacency
until it's numbed me entirely
