1. THE LAUGHING ONE

I was there for his trial and his scourging,
when they accused him of crimes He'd done;
I sopke out loud and laughed at the weak,
I was "The Laughing One."

I was there as he struggled up Calvary,
as dark clouds covered the sun;
And when they nailed his flesh to the cross,
I was "The Laughing One."

I was there when they cast lots for His garment,
As they jeered and heckled in fun;
And when the spear was thrust deep in his side,
I was "The laughing One."

And now, everyday I encounter,
lost souls sent my way by God's Son;
Still I act as though I don't know you,
I am "The laughing One."

Jesus, when at last I'm before you,
When my Northern race conquers the Earth;
Will you speak up for me to the Father?
Oh yes, and I WILL be "The laughing One?"

I saw Him die for all mankind,
And when it was "finished" and done;
I saw his face torn and given up,
yet-I was "The laughing One."

The center is dark.
The darkness breathes.
The listener hears. Hear me.
Unlock the gate, let the darkness come.
Cover us with unholy fear. Show me.
Tiamat and Wotan, the gate is closed.
Receive the dark, vanquish the unworthy...
Take my energy and be sated!
Be sated, vanquish the unworthy !
