Starlit visions erupt the primal depths
Where many souls where laid to rest

Voices returning, cradle us, cradling voices:
Echoes extenuated of what we love as it passes,
Bells of mules turning the mountain passes,

Odours in harvests garnered, fleeces shorn from the hours,
Flesh of amber and musk, mouths of gillyflowers,

In this morning of winter, and of shadows chill,
In this morning of winter the voice of the lark is still.
Voices returning, cradle us, cradling voices.

Tis was thy lament of man

Hirling visions into the crypts of
The rotten womb of cosmos!

Such is the law,

Into bestial rapture
Nuclear heresy

Wild fire, the night awaits

No flowers will bloom for God's embrace
Sacrilegious ember fill thine tomb!
