1. DESPONDENCY

Overwhelmed by the shadow of doubt
There has been a weight retained on my back
I'm being watched, I know I am being watched
Their voices constantly overcast my every setting
Observing to catch my every mistake
They only wish to ruin me

This has transpired one too many times before
This is nothing, nothing but a repeating sequence
I stand here in silence as they try to make their way in

And as they waste their time looking down on others
I only see that there is nothing
There's nothing to gain from this
What do you have to show?
And this has become a constant strain
I refuse to be held down

None above the rest
They've sought for ways to harm us
Unable to grasp what they've been aiming for

I see what they have planned this whole time
They try to drill harmful things my mind
And they will keep buried in deep
We've become the opposing

These are the things we have faced
They won't get, they won't get the best of us
No longer unstable
No longer afraid and despondent

Fiber of my being, these conditions
Will no longer grow weary
Around what we have constructed throughout our lifetime
You are too sturdy for this
Don't let them bring you down

We are the opposing
They will consume every ounce of doubt
This is a cycle that can be broken
Their efforts will wither away
All these conditions no longer grow weary on what we have
Apathetic and mute
Their voice will remain unavailing
They are not welcomed in
