Sparta will burn or the king must fall
From the deep east a barbarian king,
Gathered his army horror to bring
A messenger came from the dark plains of Persia,
“Earth and water” he states his demand
The answer came quick with a flash of the blade,
He suffered a cut throat from the king’s shinning blade

Now he’s alone with a strong heart,
He gathered three hundred to hold the attack

Leonidas the brave king
Raised in battle, death will bring
Chose to stay and face the death
Lakedaimon till his final breath

Now they’re standing at the gates of fire,
Three hundred men with blood desire
Ready to die and make a stand,
No one will pass through the gates of hell
A thousand bodies lie on the ground,
The spartans’ payback to the Persian pride
The sky turned black from the incoming arrows,
They’re fighting as one ‘till the morning hours

They are outnumbered but fear they don’t feel,
A war machine roaring for thunder and steel

In the seventh day a Greek betrayer,
Leads the Persians to the Spartan center
So a king will fall and Sparta will live,
His name will last courage to give
His spirit flies to the elysian fields,
The soldiers joined him upon their shields
They’ll live forever inside our souls,

Howling demons, before the sunrise

The demons crawl! A crack upon the wall

This is a sign but where will it lead
We are on our own

Danger is lurking at every step we take
The dark makes us blind don’t know what’s real or fake

Breath down the cold air our lungs start to shake
The blind leads the blind
As we carry on

Heartless demons sworn to bring on death
Never ending hatred for the earth
We’re the crusaders
