1. THE DOOR

Sweet sleep,
How I long for you in unbridled years...
The hollow loneliness of your repellent touch...
The numb caress of your secret whispers to my ear.
In solace, abide me with the

Shedding of your tears.
Wipe all joy from my mind.
Incite your darkness, Sister madness
And overcome me with the end of time.

And the hymns of your lullaby hexes
That hover above me
And drift out through nightshade's dark sea.
Find me

Enveloped in crimson frost dreams, black trance dance
And the shadowy rings of heartless things.
Find me, guide me
Through the door
And the awaiting nevermore.

Beyond this thin skinned winter, I listen

To hear my grave impatiently singing-

Calling out my name forever more.


2. THE REMEMBRANCE

To face these days
With a psychic fever-

These days bleed together, nearer... invisible
Like the fabric of the death veil
Rising up from my vacant mirror.

I was born here.

Somewhere here, nearer... invisible, I was born here.

Where hands are placed to it's wide eyes.
O! It's a big surprise; the rise of only a ghost who lies
And gathers years like a terrible magnet.

Born here
Where the frail detail ripples into
Tomorrow's complacent stare.


3. THE PERCEPTION

Keeping strange hours by
This eclipsed lunar maze.
Turning over on morning
And raking through its creeping haze.

Bound to the ritual of waking up again
And again to crash and burn...
And we'll all take turns

Pounding spikes of sunshine
Into bright, wide eyes

Until our ravenous steps unwind
Into a tiny waltz of lies...

Until time and time again
We clutch sickly inside to what we used to hide...
Until we're full-on blind...

Until nothing feels good
And everything hurts

And the tides of nerve endings have turned
Over on the fractured gaze of vacant days

To find the method learned.
