Like the slow wrench of a sword from the offender's heart.
Or the taste of blood upon the cold tongue of vengeance,
The look of fear in the eye of the dying.

The love of unremorsefully justifiable vial atrocities.
A yellow-toothed smirk of retribution,
To cause desperate transition from plea to denial.
No forgiveness, only ecstatic hate,
And pleasure through your pain.


2. LYCANTHROPIC WARRIOR

Her eyes reflect the light of the moon,
Her hair flows behind her in the wind,
A creature of the night – she rides,
Into the unknown.

Her face is an unblemished perfection,
Her hands are soft yet strong,
She clasps a weapon in neither,
But beware her fangs.

Her body is tense and ready,
Her senses alert,
She is a warrior – a killer,
She does not fear the unknown.

Warrior blood in her veins,
She does not fear the unknown,
Wolf blood in her veins.

She does not fear anything.


3. ICE PALACE

We are the last of a greater world.

We are seven survivors of a time before your time,
We are the primordial substance of your race.
Supremely we reigned before our cataclysmic end,
Now we alone can comprehend the greater plan.

We know of the gateways to the sky,
And to distant suns,
We know the secrets of the cosmos,
And of other worlds.

We were the readers of the heavens,
And we have envisioned your demise.
For without the key that we possess,
The future will forget,

We must build the key in the earth,
Where neither wind nor rain of fire,
Can easily attack it.
Hearken builders of the future,
For you must now be aware.

We warn the future of the future's past,
And we warn your children of their fathers.

Arrogant descendants of ours,
You build a palace of ice,
And it will melt away in the heat.
