4. HOT GATES

In 480 B.C. 300 men stood strong
Their foes came from the sea, the battle had begun
They shot their arrows high, and blotted out the sun
The 300 knew the battle could not be won

They made their final stand, by morning they would fall
As free men they'd die by Leonidas' call
"The God - King will bleed", the Spartans could stand tall
The 300 gave their lives as freedom's final wall

An ancient terror roams these plains

It wanders on forever more
