A flame grew strong in the horizon
He smiled, thanking the heavens
Only to find the his friend was a foe

No matter how he ran, the Ice Maiden mounting
The flaming horse always came closer and closer
And when he felt the icy finger on his neck
The ground beneath his feet ceased to exist

3. FORLORN HOPE

Again I am able to see
But who would I look
I imagine how could this be
My homeland, an unwritten book
Laying deserted and dead around me
The land where I launched a nuke

The feelings of hatred going strong
My chest filling up with anger
For those whom I once lived among
I grow inside a little dark stranger

4. SACRED GATES

With the blood of the beast in my veins
And the curse of it's kind in my heart.
Running along the road from days of yore,
Trying to hide from the one I was.

Behind me, an awful sound getting closer:
A neigh followed by a chilling laughter.
The Ice Maiden was back for my head
And her Flaming Horse was hungry for my bowels.

A fortress of stone and darkness
Rises in front of my tired soul.
As the beast in me stands up and tries to fight,
Fangs and claws meet frost and flame.

A black sun shines it's evil lights
Upon profaned land beneath. [This Hell]
As the battle roars endlessly,
Time stands still watching with it's solemn eyes.

As the day turns to night,
As the end meets my fight,
A long path shows that all is gloom
Leading me into the castle of doom.
