What’s the sound of a tear that falls
If there's no one to hear at all
Does it echo or does it howl

If the stars blink out one by one
Does the sky feel it’s come undone
Or does it move
Does it stun

Thoughts like rivers
They never end
Twisting
Turning
Inside my head
What’s the reason
What’s pretend
I chase the answers
But they suspend

If a mind looks into itself
Does it see anything else
Or just a chaos in a shell

If a heart breaks
But no one knows
Does it bleed or does it hurt
Does it heal or does it numb
