The world was nothing
But one abysmal mass
Congested in a heap –
Primeval atom,
The cause of space and time
Before the Big Bang
Began a vast expanse
From singularity.

Born of Chaos,
Once all conjoint,
Discordant elements
Of gaping void.

Now universe
Is millions years of age,
Nobody knows
Who’s been the demiurge.

We only guess
What is our presence for,
Like passing flecks
All born of Chaos.

As future kills,
Upcoming unbeknown –
Enjoy reality
Until this life is gone
Into obscurity...
