A cursed crown upon His head

2. OUR FATHER

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed by Thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done

But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory

3. SACRED TRIUMPH

The crowd mocks and sneers as the Son of God is beaten down under the weight of the world's imperfection
Casting curses at the one they once glorified in an act of utter rebellion and denial
As He is whipped and bruised
He submits to the of His almighty Father
Tied and nailed to the cross
He breathed His last breath and departed
As the three days pass the tone shifted
The Son arose from the grave
For the Father knew the ultimate plan
To conquer death and save His followers was written from the beginning


4. REKINDLED FAITH

As I live life on the earth
Hoping for a day to come where the sun will shine and refresh my soul
I struggle to find hope when I continually face trials and difficulties
Praying continually for solace and comfort
Jesus enter my life and save me
Grant me the strength to persevere through hardships
Stand by my side as I encounter obstacles that keep me from achieving what you wish for me

He promises to be with us in all that we encounter
Masterfully orchestrating His grand will for this world
He stands and knocks, seeking to enter our hearts
Our faith grants us the peace that only He can provide


5. SELF INFLICTED WOUNDS

Living a life of discomfort
Void of any hope for a new tomorrow
Willingly placing oneself into a negative mindset
Never ceasing to find darkness in the light

What a way to live
Thriving on the negative
Denying to see the positive

Manipulating the ebb and flow of one's constant way of life to ignore the light of God in favor of an existence focused on misery

Why do we torture ourselves in this way
Why deny the loving embrace of the Father
Who are we to say that this way of life is best

Turn to truth and you will be set free
Seek forgiveness and repentance of your ways
Be cleansed of all unrighteousness through His holy grace

Faith in the father brings the peace we all seek
Trust in Him gives clarity beyond comprehension


6. IRON TALON

The holy Word breathed by the Lord above
This sword I wield against any opposition
Sharper than any double-edged sword
Penetrating even to divide the soul and spirit
The Word of God is alive and active

My heart desires to serve and represent
All the good that the Lord has done
His sovereign grace and presence runs abound
His breath speaks and guides all who choose to listen

Searching for comfort and guidance in a world full of despair weighs heavier on those who indulge into worldly comforts
Placing trust and faith in the one who grants loving grace gives way for a life centered in joy and peace
