I know why you slept afraid
Waiting for sirens, alarms
Creatures around keeping you from speech
In the dark with failure
In the light of panic
Laying cold hands around the fire
Off the man
Misled in the wrong direction
Always searching for an answer
That we can find in death
Immanent in your wait
You can't win !
Perspective misconstrued by tradition
Believe the book
Curse the man on the corner
Shouting, "I've seen paradise !"


3. A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

My fangs sink deep, as I drain you of your mortality
Now drink of my blood
Become a creature of the night
Join me to feast upon the flesh of the meek

4. CESSATION

I stand in the highest tower
Surveying the silent battlefield
The soil now quenched
With the sacrifice of nations
Strewn with the bodies of the fallen.
Cessation
A canvass painted red
Trailing away from our great sorcerer’s tomb
Led by the vengeance still left in our souls
I feel a swelling pressure in my chest
Rising up into my throat
Releasing itself from my mouth
A scream of wretchedness.
Will this land ever heal ?
Or will this disease that is humanity
Infect our only hope ?

5. ENJOY THE EXTINCTION

How ironic is this?
The ones we've buried now bury us
The undead reborn carnivorous cannibals
How will we survive this
The ones we'e outlived now consume us
A breathing corpse with sunken eyes open wide.
Instinctual determination pulls it through the dirt
Face rotten and hungry it rises from its grave
Instinctual determination makes it walk this earth
There's no wet tongue to lye within its mouth
Though its teeth do ache for flesh.
Hide the children and grab the guns
This is not a joke no, this is not for fun
Gather your courage and come to arms
This is your fate fight for the human race.
They will show no mercy
Oh yeah they will eat your brains
So protect your thoughts
Protect your veins
They will never stop coming
They will never rest
Devouring humans
Our bones they digest.
Unexplainable reanimation of the deceased
We are all doomed
This is Armageddon the beginning of the end

You will soon be one of them
