1. THE KING IS DEAD

Ash and rock, smoke and mud
The last grain fell on bloodstained ground
The king is dead, no heir is left Marauding hordes burnt our house and stole our brute without sentence
Justice is what falls first in war
We cannot stay here: Flee now!
And make your way to our assembly point

A painful truth: Too few survived!
And winters rage will let us starve to death
The anger grows; who's the guilty one?
Once again it's the bravest man who suffers greatest loss
Justice left this dying land
We cannot stay here: Flee now!
The best defense is still a flight to the front

(May the day come, when in the councils of kings and sovereigns eventual wisdom defeats their greed and cupidity
And may the day come, when the swordsmen conquer their fear and let a spark of charity for the weak ones fill their hearts)

2. CALL FOR REVENGE

What sort of a tale forfeits it's heroes and conceals the ending?
What kind of a man loses heart and betrays his equals?
I'm not of that kind - I bring you hope and put trust in our task
My deeds will be famed - With every step I'll go down in history
We've passed so many crossroads
A thousand times we could have turned around
But faith's been strong in those days and will be even stronger - nowadays

There'll be no dawn for those who stay loyal to the throne and the king of disgrace
It's the end of our need, it's the birth of new hope - a torch in the dark to guide this land out of misery!

Now answer my call - for our revenge and the fall of the crown
So lest we forget: Due to our heart's blood we'll enter new tales
We've fended many fate-strokes
A thousand times we've regained our strength
But leave those days behind now and focus on our tasks - nowadays
