The Prophecy we were told
came to be in a flash of light
A holocaust of extinction,
humanity wiped from existence
We never knew our own fate,
only a conflict getting worse
Our stupidity and persistent nature
made this conflict take the hold of us

Scavenge for food, in a world not fit for human life
Why this fate? What have we done to deserve this way of life
Barely breathable air
Polluted by rays of radiation
Death swipes through these lands
As our body getting weaker day by day
If only they would have avoided this, we could have been safe
Then we wouldn't have to kill each day and fear for what may come tomorrow

Finally I'm dying
The radiation poisoning has reached me
I remember before, before they made it all go away
Nothing but ruins are left now of one lively city
