1. FATHER OF THE ABYSS

Shown the way to the darkness down below
What lies there are secrets left untold
I look to serpents as my trusted guide
Showing me the ways that are kept inside
The things they told, powers to behold
Made me fear that i would lose control
For I felt the trembling in my heart
As I now start my journey into the dark

Holding on to what's left of my humanity
As i try to fight off all this insanity
But it's no use my efforts are in vain
The powers are too much for one to gain
Corrupted by the all the darkness from within
The battle's lost and I can't seem to win
This madness has now taken it's toll
As I feel the darkness tearing at my soul

Kept locked away in the dark
I've now become it's master
The darkness now bends to my will
And I one day shall demonstrate

Now I lay in eternal slumber waiting for my release
So that I shall on day expand what's now my domain
Make them all follow me into the chasms below
Give unto me as I am the father of the abyss

2. HARSH WINDS OF LANDS UNKNOWN

Blistering cold winds bind to my skin as I travel fields of old
I continue on my path through darkened skies only seeing the unknown
Is this the warrior's way or is this a test that i'm forced to endure?
Left blinded I am as I submit myself to the frostbitten plains

The night preys upon me like a vulture awaiting for my death
I feel it's grip getting tighter as I draw out every breath
Gripping my chest while sheltering away from the winds of ice
Wondering if I can continue or if i must forfiet my life

3. SHRINE OF THE ANCIENT GODS

Within darkened the fields of old
Lies the shrine of the ancient gods
Where those who've fought in battle
Receive rewards from their fallen foes

I search endlessly for this place
As my heart craves the power
That the ancient shrine provides
To those who seek a warrior's path

There's a light shining out from the distance
Could it be the place that i've been seeking?
For many years I've felt weak and weary
And I feel as if this place was calling out for me

As I kneel before the shrine
I feel the spirits of old around me
Bestowing all strength and knowledge
Into my heart and my soul

4. RULER OF IVORY AND FIRE

Ruler of the mountains
King of the cold winds
The master of ivory
I was claimed to be
But within my kingdom
Lied secrets of old
Of a mighty power
Of an origin unknown

The mightiest of warriors
Stood by my side
As I sought this power
I wished to be mine
But all I saw
Was an erratic flame
Chaotic in nature
Unable to be tamed

The fire of chaos
Built on destruction
Built of corruption

I gathered my sword
I gathered my shield
I ordered my knights
To help conceal
The dark flame below
For it's powers too strong
And if it were freed
None will last very long

The fire within
Is pulling my soul
Calling to me
Trying to take control
So I must give in
To end this fight
Even though I know
I won't survive
