Alone and broken
Is how one feels
When isolation
Becomes all too real

The craving for touch
Becomes but a dream
As life is now falling
Away from its seams

If one calls for help
They should be forewarned
No matter how loud
Their efforts maybe forlorn

But our persistence
Must keep going on
For our resistance
Is what keeps us strong

Even though death may seem
To be the only way out
We must not forget
