1. DAY OF WRATH

Awake O Zion!
Put on thy strength,
The day of wrath hath passed,
Into the land of ago.
Those who told your soul to bow,
Wanting for you to be trampled:
They will taste bitterness,
They will drink bitterness.

I will pass them the chalice,
And not the one of life.
I will make them drink and lick it dry,
To the last burning drop.

Awake O Zion!
Put on thy veil of grace.
You were sold for naught.
No more!
Go shake the dust and arise.
Tyrants spit on my Name daily.
This will not stand!
You will know my name is the Lord.
You will know my breath is fire.
I will pass them...

I AM the one that speaks, behold, it is I.
You will hear salvation call.

I will pass you the chalice,
That is a well of grace.
I will bid you drink,
And quench your thirst,
To your last mortal day.

2. WEDLOCK

I thank the Lord for love,
I thank the Lord of thee.
I thank the Lord for life,
For the flame kindled in me.
Let me be the feast upon thy table,
Let me give myself to thee.
Let me be thy one desire,
Let me fill thy every dream.

O roe of royal blood,
With my scepter reign,
In the courts of love,
Enthroned upon me.

Hold on tight,
Closer to me,
As I ride the waves,
With thee.
Closer to me,
Hold on tight.
We will pierce,
The dead of night.

Oh roe...
(Ride the waves,
Upon the raging sea.
O roe of royal blood.)

Thou art mine by vows,
Mine by golden rings.
(I am yours and you are mine.)
You belong to me,
I belong to thee.

3. CROSSROADS

I beheld him in a dream,
Waiting where the roads cross.
His suit was white,
His skin was grey and broken around hollow ebony eyes,
Like holes in the fabric of existence.
When he smiled a preacher-smile at me,
Lightning set the sky ablaze,
In the flash I saw maggots crawl beneath his fragile face.
He sits behind you on a molding throne of ravished corpses and misused technology.
He lurks around the corner of "reality",
Beyond the realm of rationality.

He needs your flesh for his unholy desire.
He needs your hands for his filthy deeds.
He needs tongue for his deadly bite,
His slander and deceit.
(He is disgraced,
He has no flesh.
All that was fair,
Now twisted and wrong.
Evil, unclean, he burns.)

Older than sin itself,
He is the curse,
He is the spell.
Apostate of hell,
All around him is death.
He is the beast under your bed,
He is the darkness in your darkest dream.
He needs your flesh...

His kingdom is smoke and mirrors,
As hope that dies,
Where all is death and whispers of the grave.
His promise is freedom that turns you into a slave.
Take the road to the cross!
He needs your flesh...

4. MARCHING OUT OF BABYLON

I turn my back on your values and on your fears,
Your false safety that is said to justify your ever-present,
Ever-watchful,
Artificial eyes.
You breed monsters that you never raise your hand to strike,
Then you blame the monsters for your systems of control.
But I see through you,
You planned them all along.
You manufacture plagues and their cures to strengthen your power.
To rebuild your tower.

But I will give you what I owe,
(Don't let the daylight go to waste.)
The finger and the dust that I return,
(Gather the crowd, depart in haste.)
As I am marching out of Babylon.

Never did you think that plagues might be the cure for you.
There are systems of defense,
Not by your hands.
Tread on the chords and they will snap seven by seven,
And your towers will fall one by one.
Marching, marching,
Marching out of Babylon.

But I will give you what I owe,
(Raise up banners, men of God.)
The finger and the dust that I return,
(Cut all your bonds, go through the arch.)
As I am marching out of Babylon.

Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On the Earth as in Heaven,
Thy kingdom come.

5. THE LAST CHEEK

I am obligated to turn the other cheek,
You are not obligated to strike.
I advise you to walk away, I advise you strongly.
For when you strike the second time,
You walk across the final line.
If you mind me and mind me well,
You will hear the blood of Abel,
Screaming in my veins,
You will see the mark of Cain,
Burning upon my face.

There is a door shut on a millennia of holy rage.
There is a mantle drenched in blood.
(There is a mantle drenched in blood,
Upon the shoulders of our King)

I am guilty of sin,
But my avenger is the Holy God.
Consider the cost of your aggression,
Before you lay your hand on me and mine,
Before you piss upon the Church of God,
For when He brings the hammer down...
It falls but once.
I don't think you understand the line in the sand.
It is drawn for your protection, not for mine.
I am a Lion on leash, I am not stuck here with you,
You are stuck here with me.
There is a door, shut...

Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.
Father protect them, they know not who I am.

6. HIDDEN DEEP

Treasures of darkness,
Treasures in the deep.
I hold the pillars,
The oath I keep.
We speak of God in mystery.
Parable unveil, history unfold.
Dark sayings of old, true words untold.
The truth reveal,
Come break the seal.
Lay bare the very foundations of time,
The secrets sublime.
For the Lord holds the lantern in the utmost dark,
In the deep beyond all depth.
He is the one, radiant sun,
The burning light, eternal.

Uncreated, He creates.
Unspoken, He speaks.
Let there be light!
And there was, is, shall be.
(The all, the being, the was, is and shall.
The Incarnation, the Word, the Truth, the Light.)

You serve the weakness,
And the darkness,
An infernal flickering flame.
Ashes upon the earth and a heritage of shame.
We serve the glory and the power,
And the child of virgin birth.
We serve "I AM": the Son of Man.
He is the revelation,
He is the mystery,
He is the treasure in the deep.

7. WE THE PEOPLE

We are custodians of God.
You, you are the people!
I, I am the people!
We, we are the people!
We the people... we are to blame,
It is our choice and our shame,
When we sell our rights for bread and games.
Like Edom, for a bowl of stew.
Wanton and lewd.
We trade our freedom for false security.
We the People should consider the next trade we make.

We the people, unto us a voice is given.
We the people, unto us a choice is given,
To tear down, to rebuild.

Like sheep to the slaughter,
Like rats to the piper,
Like clouds adrift the wind.

Here and now, to the price of forever.
A penny for your sanity,
Shackles for your liberty,
A pile of waste for your soul.

Come rise!
Sic semper tyrannis
Thus always to tyrants
Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God

We the people...

We the people,
We the flock.
We few,
We happy few.

8. PHOENIX RISING

A stone was cast upon the forced alliance of iron and clay.
Ten toes of foundation was swept away.
The sculpture of Babylonian dreams crumbles and falls.
The weight of thousands of years rests upon what cannot stand.
From my ashes, I arise to burn the pigshead and kill the flies.
The mountain of God will cover the earth.
The true Zion, under the wings of the sacred firebird.
The sun of righteousness with healing under his wings.

From my ashes, I arise in a blaze that will dissolve their hateful eyes.
A new world is born as the old one dies:
Not by flood, but by burning skies.
The earth shivers from blood drenched surface to melting core.
From my ashes, like the Phoenix,
I will rise like the Son.
