4. HEART OF WOE

Underneath that face of hers
she's filled by dreams of terror
a bleak past of scorn and pain.

Yet she stands with joy
the role of the dice
chances to take
but hers are fooled
laced in 6s
she's cursed by this unfair world.

Yet here she stands taking the blows
piece by piece
crack by crack
I fear she's falling apart.
A father of toxic
a past of pain
I can't fathom why this so called god is so vein.

A heart of gold
a smile that holds
how others complain of a life
so bleak there treated like kings
everyday of the week
this young girl
her life is equal to a broken mirror
you try to see what you want
the reflection is not clear.

Only broken in shattered remains
she try's to please
the world you see
asking nothing of thee
so I ask why she is so cursed
by this unfair fucking world
when she has so much worth
she's better then most so
