3. WRITHE IN VENGEANCE

They enslaved my soul, and I lost sight of my truest intentions.
To rid my heart of the worm, that had burrowed within.
Finally, to be free of their curses, I would writhe in vengeance.
My solitude a fortress, for inside these walls I am a prisoner.

And though they remained, words upon my dying breath.
I had surfaced from the dark to find myself at peace with their threats.
Kept my vision true in the blackest of their ways.
Infernal divinity guards this place where I am chained.
I am here forever.

Blistering waves of pain
Rack you and in vain.
You struggle to escape
The ropes bind you tighter.
Hanging by your feet
They can't stretch you much farther
Irons put in the fire
Make you scream louder.

Try not to breathe as they take you down to the pit.

Shrouded our legions await in hiding.
Lies filled their souls with promises of riches untold.
