Lurking in the shades of light
The root of evil, root of blight
Are we the ones second to none?
Blindfolded pawns?

I have wondered countless times
Why I start to scrutinize
If monster`s are just chimera
Who is one of them?

How can wonders coexist
With dark creatures spurning bliss
Where the rainbows jolly adorn the sky
And snakes befoul its shine

Are we just the pawns of sin?
Cursed to play a bitter game?

Is it for us to rule the world?
Or the order of thy lord?

The age of the serpents
Monsters alive

Unformed creation
When the wolves drive lambs into grace
Blindfolded into damnation
When pure darkness lights the heavens gate

A curse on us who build with blood
It´s a world on eruptive slag
Ahead there lies just pestilence
Flames for the innocent
