Light as a feather on soft feet
A comforting cold that touches my cheek
Minuet over misty ground
Breath of winter, echoes of autumn’s sound

Claws and bone slightly scratch the stone
Majestic death come hunt with me

We rush through barren, desolate fields
And claw the sheep in every farm
We dig the burrows of the damned
And feed on rats with diseased blood

I leave my lively nausea behind
With miles to go my body may die
But tonight our faces shine
In a gorgeously morbid twist of the spine


2. LYNX

Unseen eyes pierce through mind and matter
The pack gathers
I wear the darkness like a blanket around my shoulders
As the moon passes by through a clear sky

Come predators
Come hunters
I turn my gaze to the skyline
And the night belongs to me

My graceful steps in the snow

Swaying sounds disturb the air
Ancient tribes, their newborn heirs
Slaying their sheep, one flock or three

The lonely watcher
The howling of the wolves will cease
While I carry the sun over my left shoulder

I turn my gaze to the skyline
And the dawn belongs to me


3. SONG OF NOVA

Dark frequencies, succumb to by every beast
As nova has swallowed the last light
And resigns

Their limbs tremble as the chords are strung
Fragile glass that shatter
Shards that dissolve into dust

Flesh that implode
Into the void
Cold is the sky
Colorless world
Faces go mute
Paralyzed fall
Gravity draws me toward nothingness and all is done

Stumble over broken bodies
Lean
When it pulls you to it’s heart
Sway
There is no escape

4. NAMELESS, FACELESS

Heavy clouds on the horizon
I drop my swords and watch the rain roll in
Once valiant
Now nameless

Mountains lay this strangling weight on my shoulders
Losing balance and losing ground
My body weakens, my veins wither
When the mind is blank and the earth pulls me down

Through cold water and i drown
Through heavy earth that crush my bones
Through fire that vaporizes blood
And as aether I ascend

Faceless, cloaked in iron dust, I give in
In wastelands, in interminable time, I rest
I traverse the depths to my own heart, through throat and gut
A creature hibernating behind a pale row of stars

5. LAW OF DECAY

Join our hands
As the body dissolves
In a soft embrace
From the air and sand
And in dust we rest
For the sea is calm
As the chaos reign
Mother of all

Flittering eyes and ferocious mind
I will take them down with me
A sharp flake chipped from the marble
The certainty of doom
Counterweight to life and lust

Slowly, the rope around the giant’s neck
Drag the herd toward a steeping chasm
Careful and precise it steps
Unseen spider of venomous line

I gaze through stone and bone
Piercing flesh with poisonous teeth
I will take them down with me

6. DARK MATTER

From the darkest shade
Through the deepest blue
That first fragment, splitting the air
That is inevitable to inhale
That leaden pearl
That grows untamed

From the lightest steps
Through the heaviest breaths
That lightless weight
That deprives all strength
That nuance within
That feeds on the pulp of the lungs

From the violet chakra
Through the veins and flesh
That sorrowful spirit
That cannot escape
That filthy black mould
That living matter evades


7. EYES ABLAZE

Eyes, eyes staring in the dark in the misty night, eyes ablaze
Only star and spectre
Dare to meet my gaze

Claw, clawing round the walls round the bodies of the game
For carnage and grim sight
I will be to blame

Teeth, teeth sunken into meat into warm flesh, then like a flood
Fallen sheep and hound
Lapping blood

Instincts bury wisdom
Instincts overwhelm
Let us gather under the sky
Antagonists in the realm

Fragile reflections of distant faces
Lights in a shattered mirror
No traces of recognition in the unclear forms
Repulsing negative poles

An endless journey
Through dreams and nightmares and daylight and night
Through solid matter and thin atmosphere
Over the frozen tundra

Forlorn travel of the the forsaken
For the lonely mortal
The spirit moves only in circles

Unbreakable walls of marble
I am beaten against a blank surface

Just as gravity pulls the mass of my body down
My remains gather in a pile of failure
Non-reunion

Disintegration, the last liberation
There will be no realization
But pulverized iron and sulphur
Dust and ice drifting through space
