Pushing the limits of science
From fear of becoming a corpse
A pursuit of immortality
Can only end in wanting more
Lost in time are words of the wise
As we struggle with our own demise
Altering nature, resisting the tomb
External deformities, internal doom


2. THE ETERNAL RETURN

Is not the act of awakening
But the result becoming of sleep
And if life is becoming of death
A concept our minds must defeat
We exit from this world
Into the light we are led
Then could the reverse be true
For a dimension of the dead


3. OBSCURED ANIMATION

Barriers in the mind keep us breaking free
Locked behind doors where knowledge is the key
Children of science programmed socially
To abandon all religion, hail technology
Unspoken warnings all too clear to see
Ignored by distractions of hyper reality
Virtual self not capable of thought
No more privilege to live suffer eternal rot


4. BEYOND FLESH

Imprisoned in the body
To this earth we are slaves
Chained by laws of nature
Approaching self decay
Our being is to cease
When brought upon our end
Wisdom comes with death
Consciousness transcends
Slowly decomposed
Becoming forms unknown
Existence is no more
To ashes burns your soul
