1. ABDICATE

How many daggers have I planted
In the backs of my friends?
Now it's time to reap the crops that I've sown
In this bloody harvest
Crimson banners with the royal seal
Line the hall to the throne room

The choirs sing words of praise
The nobles make endless toasts
A decade laid in wait for this day
My coronation
One final time I kneel to another
The crown has finally found it's rightful home

Luxuries, extravagance, all at my call!
It's good to be king!
Pleasures of the flesh, excessive and decadent
Is this what true power is?

One by one,
The procession of ministers
Arrive at my door
Beg for my ear! Plea for my favor!
Implore me to consider your "urgent needs"!

Incompetent fools!
Am I not a king?
Burden me not with these peasant affairs!

I awake to the cry of the war horn
Sounding out in the dead of night
Why do these barbarians at the gate raise the banner of our Realm?

2. CHAINBREAKER

And to the ones whose lack of vision left them blind World before them
Take a good look; this is what real resistance looks like
And as for the parasites sitting high atop mountain of Corpses

We will overthrow
The heirarchy built on blood and on coin
We will see the destruction of crowns and kings alike
Let the bastards hang from up high
And swing to beat of revolution
This is a call to arms

And to the ones held captive by the numbers held in our Name
Fear not, we have but a world to win!
And as for the narcissists who think a title gives them Right to reign

We will overthrow
The heirarchy built on blood and on coin
We will see the destruction of crowns and kings alike
Let the bastards hang from up high
And swing to beat of revolution
This is a call to arms
No gods!
No masters!
No borders!
No nations!
Rise up!
Tear off your chains!

3. MANDRAGORA

Darkness has pierced my heart, an act of betrayal Unpunished
Silence has calmed my mind, an impulsive thought come to Pass

Hopeless, I make my choice, as nothing else remains to decide
Fearless, I ordain myself, with this collar made of twine
Beneath the shade of this mighty tree,
I stand tall one last time
For the burden of being is far too great
And with aid of this noose I will ease my load

Deceased, withered, rotten, and decayed
Returned to the clay of the earth
A damaged soul finally rid of its corporeal cage
But time cannot heal every festering wound
When the seeds of infection take root in fertile soil

And so it rests, gestating in this dirt womb
A bitter nascence fed by a sinner's blood
Buried deep beyond the reach of the Sun
Roots unfurled, outstretched, grasping for new life

Days pass into weeks pass into months pass into years
Pass into decades of peaceful growth, undisturbed
These bitter seasons of darkness and solitude
Haunted by the spectres of a past life's sins

But now the sounds of dirt above rouse me from my sleep
What should not have been unearthed, dragged into Sunlight
Thrust back into a hostile world
With a final scream
