Unseen and unfamiliar skies
A universe unrecognized

Extinct, the heavens of home
An abdicated astral throne
Unfixed, at the mercy of time
Cruel celestial pantomime

Strange new suns, futile astrogation
Cast away, no hope for salvation
Into the unknown at full acceleration
Sailing beneath unmapped constellations

To explore these nameless worlds
My heart alight, my mind aswirl
Long afloat in void divine
Still I mourn for all that's left behind
