Discharged upon this world, a blank slate ready to be filled
Victims of culture, each path has been predetermined
Aberrant structures, groom these complacent loyal subjects
Taught to conform and obey

Another cog in the industrial machine
Trained for lives of subordination
A ceremonial indoctrination
The syllabus decides
Classification based on reward
Trading knowledge for a compliant drone
The broader understanding withheld

The vile maxim
Just another establishment
Manufacturing consent
Altering history to exalt the dominant

Regurgitating on command
Subjects chosen, memorised and replicated
Reluctantly selecting a vocation
Addicted to material gain

These docile automatons
Benighted to the plight of fellow creatures
Never truly reaching their potential
Dreams are merely secondary

Mass public failure by design
The collapse of civic intellect

And so they shape and limit their perspectives
You manipulate the narrative
Re-educate, the only way to escape the apathy
Or succumb to cognitive dissonance
