Bearing shame and scoffing rude
In my place condemned He stood
Sealed my pardon with His blood

2. CJ (THE NAME)

2000 years ago there lived a man - he said he was the Messiah
But he was put to death - was he a liar?
Long before of this Isaiah foretold the coming of a man
And his sacrifice to redeem mankind from sin and death

The Christ - Jesus

At the cross he died - dead
Down into the grave - burial

Salvation is to be found through him alone
There is no one else whom God has given who can save us
Everyone who calls out to the Lord for help will be saved

The tomb is empty - resurrection
Back to life - Easter

He is the way, He is the truth and the life
No one goes to the Father, except by Him
Switch on your head, realize - He is God
Come to Him before it's too late

The Christ - Jesus

Back to the Father - ascension
His reign has begun - glory


3. A MIGHTY FORTRESS

A mighty fortress is our God
A bulwark never failing
Our helper he, amid the flood
Of mortal ills prevailing

For still our ancient foe
Does seek to work us woe
His craft and power are great
And armed with cruel hate
On earth is not his equal

Did we in our own strength confide
Our striving would be losing
Were not the right Man on our side
The Man of God's own choosing

You ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is he
Lord Sabaoth his name
From age to age the same
And he must win the battle

And though this world, with devils filled
Should threaten to undo us
We will not fear, for God has willed
His truth to triumph through us

The prince of darkness grim
We tremble not for him
His rage we can endure
For lo! his doom is sure
One little word shall fell him

That Word above all earthly powers
No thanks to them abideth
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
Through him who with us sideth

Let goods and kindred go
This mortal life also
The body they may kill
God's truth abideth still
His kingdom is forever!


4. UNTIL THE DAY I DIE

Life is short, and not always good
Things, that happen, put a damper on your mood
Death, despair and fear
Corruption and war are near
Violence and pain
All over the world it's the same

This world is lost, can't you see
But there's a way out, listen to me
Christ has shown the way to another dimension
Follow Him, give Him attention

I have decided to obey Your laws until the day I die

Poverty and luxury found in all centuries
False joy and regret, things, you can't forget
I'm weak, what can I do? I fall on my knees, pray to you
Can't even help myself, God, give me strength

Living in fear ain't living in me
I trust in God and live my life free
Doesn't matter, what people say
I follow Him, until the day I die

I believe in the sun, seven if it doesn't shine
I believe in love, even if I don't feel
I believe in God, even if He keeps silence

Decide today, whom you serve
As for my family and me, we will serve the Lord until the day we die
I have decided to obey Your laws until the day I die


5. ALL DAY LONG

Open my eyes to see
Give me wisdom and knowledge
With all my heart I call to You
Answer me, Lord

Like fresh water - all day long
Like the daily meal - all day long
Like my breath - all day long
I need You - all day long

Don't hide yourself from me, I put my trust in You
My prayer goes up to You, show me the way I should go

Help me understand your laws
Keep me from going the wrong way
Don't let me be put to shame
You are all I want, o Lord

Like fresh water - all day long

I need You - all day long

I lift up my hands in prayer, like dry ground my soul is thirsty for You

6. WORLD DEAD

Living in a world of living dead, deepest darkness in your head
Making your own decisions, not asking God
You think that's life, it's your death

Real life only comes from God, life without Him your way to hell
Eternal damnation, what a waste, but with God hell I won't taste

Christ came into this world to set us free, but it doesn't matter much to thee
Just two ways - up or down, eternal darkness or joy and fun

You must decide, no time to waste, come to Him, to Jesus Christ
Read the Bible, the Word of God, offer your life or you will rot

Whoever does not have his name written in the book of the living
Will be thrown into the lake of fire

Our God is a God who saves
He is the Lord, who rescues from death

Into the darkness shines a light, with Christ's power we will fight
In his kingdom we will rule, leave your ways or are you a fool?

Stand up for Christ, renew your mind, real life you will find
We are God's children, He is our dad, come to Him or you'll stay dead

Come out of this world of the dead!
Come out of darkness
Come to Jesus Christ
Come to life


7. HOLY

Holy, the Lord Almighty is
Holy, His glory fills the world
Holy, He is the only one
Holy, and He alone

Our ancestors put their trust in You
They trusted You, and You saved them
Your laws are eternal, Lord
And Your temple is holy, forever and ever

O Lord, my Lord
Your greatness is seen in all the world
You set the earth in place
When I look to the sky, which you have made
At the moon and the stars, which You set in their places

What is man, that You think of him
Mere man, that You care for him
We are only dust, but You will give us life

The Lord is my light and my salvation
I will fear no one 'cause the Holy Lord is by my side

Holy, is the Lord God Almighty
Holy, who was
Holy, who is
Holy, who is to come

Be holy, 'cause He is holy
God did not call us to live in immortality, but in holiness
Even if I go through the deepest darkness
I will not be afraid, Lord, for You are with me


8. BACK TO THE ROOTS

This is the message from the Amen; the faithful and true witness
Who is the origin of all that God has created

He knows what you have done, He knows that you are neither cold nor hot
How He wishes you were either one or the other
But because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold
He is going to spit you out, out of His mouth

You say, "I am rich and well off, I have all I need."
But you do not know how miserable and pitiful you are
You are poor, naked and blind

Back to the roots; back to the roots
Back to Jesus Christ; the foundation of belief

Listen! He stands at the door and knocks
If anyone hears His voice and opens the door
He will come into his house and eat with him
And he will eat with Him

To those who win the victory He will give the right to sit beside Him on His throne
Just as He has been victorious and now sits by His Father on His throne

Back to the roots; back to the roots
Back to Jesus Christ; the foundation of belief

If you have ears, then listen to what the Spirit says to the churches


9. FIGHT FOR FAITH

All authority in heaven and earth Has been given to Him
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations
Baptizing and teaching to obey everything He has commanded you
And surely He is with you always, to the very end of the age

So then, my dear brothers, stand firm and steady
Run your best in the race of faith
Fight on for the faith
This is the victory of God's people

Don't be afraid of your enemies
Always be courageous and this will prove to them
That they will lose and that you will win
Because it is God who gives you the victory

Where, death, is your victory
Where, death, is your power to hurt
You can only win a few battles
But the war you have lost

Stand firm with one common purpose and that with only one desire
We are fighting together for the faith of the gospel

Lift up your tired hands and strengthen your trembling knees
Keep walking on straight paths, the Lord is our strength


10. LOVE IS, PT. 1

He was so disfigured that He hardly looked human
He had no dignity or beauty
There was nothing attractive about Him
We despised Him and rejected Him
He endured suffering and pain
We ignored Him as if He were nothing

But He endured the suffering that should have been ours
The pain that we should have borne
Because of our sins He was wounded

Beaten because of the evil we did
The Lord made the punishment fall on Him
The punishment all of us deserved

For you, He has done all this for you

He was treated harshly, but endured it humbly
He never said a word
Like a lamb about to be slaughtered, like a sheep about to be sheared
He never said a word

It was God's will that He should suffer
His death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness

For you, He has done all this for you

God's devoted servant, with whom He is pleased
Will bear the punishment of many and for His sake
He will forgive...you!

For me, He has done all this for me
For me, He has done all this for me


11. LOVE IS, PT. 2

For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son
So that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not have life
But will remain under God's punishment
