1. THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF MISERY

On the brink of collapse
This is the tragedy of existence
Under a falling sky
We are at last overcome
The tempest of despair,
Consuming every waking moment
Dark clouds black out the sun,
Resisting the coming dawn

I’m following insanity
Overwhelmed with the essence of decay

One ending after the next,
This destruction was our only option
I was left to ponder
The consciousness of misery
For we cannot know what’s ahead;
We are the sentient dead
And the tears that we cried
Were not enough
You were the reason I was sick inside
And now we are no more

I cannot unsee
A figure in the darkness
Lingers like the breath of death
With no reprieve
Encompassing as these hands close
Upon my wretched soul
In the cold it will expire
Spiral deeper down than ever

My mind; my prison waiting for me

In the end all is forsaken
Under the fire we die
Ashes fall without a sound or second thought
Under the fire we are no more (as ashes fall)

Invisible to everyone

Even in death we are nothing
Even in death, nowhere to turn
