Mired in darkness
Inherit a world we can't save
We bow to the grace of the gods
We forge our own strength and the will to go on

The elders they all say
That there was nothing else they could do
They would rather accept a doom
That was born of their greed and deny all thats true

There was a time that we could stand and fight
That time has gone how can we now survive?

Abandon all we know
Evolve and adapt we must show
What humans are capable of when we're
Pushed to the edge of extinction
A civilization
Reborn from the ashes of old
We're building a future for all
A conquest to behold

Take to the skies
Waters wash away the filth of men new life arise

Fire cleanse the earth of what remains, a paradise

There is nowhere to hide
Death came for us all
My only ambition
To advance and prevent the fall

As I look to the skies I can see
A hope not known for an age
While we prepare to meet our demise the
Earth might be restored to a land before time

Hold each other close, kneel down and repent
And at the dawn of a new age, we begin our eternal ascent
